Bridger Creek Golf Course

Located at the base of the Bridger Mountains, only ten minutes from historic downtown Bozeman, Bridger Creek Golf Course is one of Montana’s most scenic and challenging golf courses. Having hosted two U.S. Amateur qualifiers and many state and regional tournaments the course continues to draw rave reviews for it’s condition and complexity. But tournament competitions are just a small part of our golf season activity.

Teaching people the great game of golf is Bridger Creek Golf Course’s major focus. Montana’s only Nike camps, the summer long junior academy, turf mites and pee wees and Bridger Creek’s adult group lesson programs add up to the largest teaching program in Montana. All these programs are taught by three PGA professionals and two PGA apprentices. The teaching is done at Bridger Creek’s own Rocky Mountain Golf Academy, the Northwest’s premier short game and full shot practice facility.

Rocky Mountain Golf Academy

The Rocky Mountain Golf Academy is the Northwest’s premier short game practice facility. Designed by Phelps-Atkinson Golf Course Design of Denver, Colorado every conceivable short game shot from 60 yards and in can be practiced here. Three separate greens, each with it’s own unique design, allow for bump and run, lob, regular chip and pitch and sand shots all to be practiced hitting to greens of varying elevation and slope. The four greenside bunkers vary from shallow to Irish pot bunker style. The greens can also be used for putting practice as they are maintained at course speed. A bunker for practicing fairway bunker shots, hitting out to our driving range, is available along with a 15 station practice tee.
